I’m’ not sure if I’m shocked or it was always an inevitable situation but either way, I’m very excited to announce that there will be an 8th Harry Potter book coming to a bookstore near you this July. The eight part in the Harry Potter series will be a script book based on the play ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed child Parts I & II” by J.K. Rowling, Jack Throne, and John Tiffany.

The play itself will debut on July 30th: print and digital editions of the book will be available the day after, on July 31. It will be first released as a “Special Rehearsal Edition” and then as a “Definitive Collector’s Edition”. The book picks up after the epilogue from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
