The episode I’ve been looking forward to the most was everything I hoped it would be. Centered around the arrest of Ollie by the Starling Police department and a vengeful Detective Lance, Damaged is my favorite episode of the season thus far. This only impresses me about Arrow overall, as they continue to raise the bar every week, I wonder when the first filler episode is coming in which Ollie has to go to the laundry mat to wash his costume. Damaged reflects on how the island changed Ollie and how it is affecting his life now that he has returned to Starling City. The main thing I was looking forward to was the first appearance of Deathstroke. In the comics Deathstroke had become kind of a joke since all he did was harass a bunch of kids (Teen Titans) most of the time, but we all know that he is a badass and it was shown in this episode, especially in the fight scene with Yao Fei (Byronn Mann). The interesting thing is that Deathstroke didn’t speak a word in the episode and seems as if he was in the role of a mercenary paid by the group who are searching for Fei. Not too much time was spent on what happened, besides Ollie’s torture which played a big part in his ability to deny the accusations that he is vigilante, even against a polygraph test! Diggle steps up to the plate in this episode by putting on the hood and stopping an arms deal, which also puts the vigilante and Ollie in two different places “proving” his innocence  Ollie is a damaged individual on a mission to protect Starling City and right the wrongs his family have previously, and still may be committing. Again we meet John Barrowman‘s character, and as we learn, will not hesitate to protect the truth behind the sinking of Robert Queen‘s yacht. Nor will Moira Queen hesitate to protect her family when she learns that Barrowman sent an assassin to kill Ollie, when he was presumed to be the vigilante. Deception and intrigue are heating up on Arrow and I can’t wait to see where the twisted path will lead! Oh and this episode had my favorite quote of the season so far “You know us billionaire vigilantes, we do love our toys.”

Who will play Firefly? This guy!

Andrew Dunbar (Stargate Universe) will be appearing in the tenth episode of Arrow as Garfield Lynns aka Firefly!

Another casting/character rumor, is that Count Vertigo will be making an appearance in an upcoming episode….KINDA. A new drug called Vertigo will be hitting the streets of Starling City and the distributer is described as “Oliver’s deadliest adversary to date..He will be truly scary and nightmarish.” It will be interesting to see how the character will be translated.

Here’s a promo from next week’s episode Legacies!
