Hey, Ya Poozers! I for one cannot wait until Green Lantern: The Animated Series returns this fall for its second season on Cartoon Network. A welcome “retooling” of the original story, GL: TAS takes the best elements from Geoff Johns’ Rainbow Lantern concepts and puts them all into one well written and directed animated masterpiece. The first season is your basic starship sci-fi show, staying away from the superhero element and building the series into something much more epic. Look for the first part of season 1, “Rise of the Red Lanterns”, to be released on DVD on August 28th. Oh, and Guy Gardner and certain space squirrel will be showing up in season 2, just thought you’d like to know.
