Jonathan Hickman’s career thus far has been MORE than stellar! His work on books for Marvel Comics such as Secret Warriors (my personal fav), S.H.I.E.L.D. (one of the most creative titles I’ve read in years), Fantastic Four, FF, The Ultimates, and now The Avengers has distinguished him as one of the best writers in comics today. With the EPIC event, Avengers vs X-Men (which Hickman helped ’round robin’) drawing to an end soon and Marvel Now! just around the corner, we will be seeing some major changes in the status qou across the Marvel Universe. It would seem that we are also in for some MAJOR roster changes for all of our favorite teams, some X-Men and Avengers crisscrossing, but of course The Avengers will keep most of its heavy hitters and ‘movie staples’ while adding on some surprises! That’s Cannonball and Sunspot! It is awesome to see the green Hulk back again, and that the team is adapting some of Bendis’ original New Avengers (my favorite Avengers book ever), with Wolverine, Spidey, and Spider-Woman thrown in there!
