Paul knew he should have taken the Dramamine after he had gotten on the road. It seemed nothing could keep him awake on his way to Georgia, not even the ever present thumping from the trunk of his car. There was even a moment where a cop car pulled up way to close to him, it should have scared the hell out of him, but this damn medication just wouldn’t allow it. He was tempted to pull over but he just needed to get this over with.

Generation X #2 (Marvel)

Christina Strain (W) Amilcar Pinna (A)

I’m not sure how long I’ll keep this one in the pull, but the first issue wasn’t bad, so hopefully the next will cement its place.

Doctor Strange #21 (Marvel)

Dennis Hopeless (W) Niko Henrichon (A)

Really sad that the previous team has left the book, that seems to be a theme this week. Hopefully Hopeless can carry this book to higher places.

Hulk #6 (Marvel)

Mariko Tamaki (W) Nico Leon (A)

Okay, so I thought she’d Hulk out in the last issue, but apparently its this one. Man I really hope they don’t keep drawing this out. I need some Hulk issues.

Thanos #7 (Marvel)

Jeff Lemire (W) Mike Deodato (A)

This series is always really fucking cool. Lemire loves him some cosmic universe, that’s for sure. You can tell this is just a big love letter to that part of the Marvel Universe.

Old Man Logan #24 (Marvel)

Jeff Lemire (W) Eric Nguyen (A)

Last issue with this team. Next up Ed Brisson, which is a relief because I’m really digging his run on Iron Fist. Sad to see Lemire and Nguyen go though.

Wonder Woman Annual #1 (DC)

Greg Rucka (W) Nicola Scott (A)

We get a bunch of stories from the first years of Wonder Woman’s career in this annual. That sounds incredibly promising. I’m super pumped for this issue.

Moon Knight #14 (Marvel)

Jeff Lemire (W) Greg Smallwood (A)

Last issue of this comic! What! No offense other Marvel comics, but you guys really need to stop ending my favorite comics. It’s getting a little ridiculous.

Black Science #30 (Image)

Rick Remender (W) Matteo Scalera (A)

And the world goes boom. Courtesy of Mr. Remender and Mr. Scalera.

Sex Criminals #19 (Image)

Matt Fraction (W) Chip Zdarsky (A)

And the world lets out a weird little squelch noise. Courtesy of Mr. Fraction and Mr. Zdarsky.

Saga #43 (Image)

Brian K Vaughan (W ) Fiona Staples (A)

Hey, this issue is only twenty five cents. Hurray twenty fifth anniversary of Image. You give me things for cheap moneys. Thanks a ton.

Kill or be Killed #9 (Image)

Ed Brubaker (W) Sean Phillips (A)

Someone better get this kid some medication: A cautionary tale.

After some hours, Paul finally reached the last stretch of his journey. Down a bumpy path and towards some dark woods, his car rattled with anger. When he had stopped, he got out of his car and walked to the trunk to let out his fifth grade teacher. The man was tied and gagged in the trunk, but oddly docile. I can only imagine eight hours in a dark box would do that to a man. Paul removed his gag.

“I’ve always wanted to know why you gave me a 65 for that presentation” Paul pushed through his teeth.

“What?” said the very confused public school teacher.
