I am completely speechless.  This episode has wrecked me.

I know that this is just a tv show, and I understand that the possibility of there ever being a zombie apocalypse is pretty much 0%, but this is an extremely realistic depiction of what would happen if there were to be one.  I can’t explain to you how truly affected I was by this episode.  Mainly because I’m a mother and as a mother, I have to say, I would do anything, ANYTHING, to save my child. But what really got to me was that this was all done in front of Carl. He might have had to deal with some grown up stuff lately, but this is just too much for him! Lori finally told him how proud of him she is, how he is the future and how much she loves him. (I’m crying again just thinking of this scene!!!!) To see Carl having to deal with this broke my heart. I couldn’t handle it. I was a complete and utter mess. And when it was all done and HE took the responsibility to make sure she was gone! OH MY GOD! You just saw this wall go up, his face just went still as stone and he is completely in shock.  The idea of having to ever put one of my kids through that just kills me.

Then there was T-Dog.  Oh T-Dog… I think this was one of the most heroic things I have ever seen on this show.  Knowing that there was a possibility that he could’ve been saved, and still throwing himself into the Walkers to save Carol, what a hero!  The question now is where is Carol?  They found her scarf, but they didn’t show her after she ran past T-Dog.

All I can think about is how are they going to feed this baby? How is everyone going to handle this?  Is Carl going to completely shut down?  What’s gonna happen to Rick? Is somebody else going to have to take charge while he processes everything that just happened?

On the other side of the fence… What is going on with The Governor?  It’s obvious that he doesn’t want anyone to leave Woodbury, but why?  It’s also clear that he can see straight through Andrea, and by giving her the tiniest bit of information he makes her think that he likes her so she wants to stay now.  Seriously?  I mean, I understand, I would want to stay too, but when Michonne, who you have been with for months now and has saved your ass numerous times, clearly tells you that she doesn’t trust it and wants out, don’t you think that would give you at least a little reason to question what’s going on there?  Andrea really bothers me sometimes.

After watching this episode I had to go watch some lighthearted tv just to get my mind off of everything that happened so I could fall asleep.  I have no idea what’s going to happen next week, but I can’t wait to see where they take things from this point.  I have a feeling that there’s going to be a lot of changes coming.

Till next time Towelites!
