Ben Kingsley was a guest on the Jonathan Ross Show this past Saturday and we got to see a new clip from the upcoming movie Iron Man 3. It looks to be right before the exciting scene we see in the trailer when Air Force One is attacked. Check it out!

The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Wang Xueqi, who plays Dr. Wu and apparent friend of Tony Stark, here is what Xueqi had to say about his character (WARNING: SPOILAGE AHEAD)

It’s not a character which exists in the original comic series and he’s a very complicated individual: he’s at once a specialist in Chinese medicine and Western medicine, but also a scientist and someone who has an in-depth knowledge of ancient Chinese culture. It’s a very challenging role. I don’t get a lot of scenes, but you have to convince viewers that [Stark and Wu] are friends from way back. It’s not like in other films when you can get to show that through a lot of interaction between the characters. Even the bosses were very concerned about whether we could sound like friends when we speak in different languages. What they would want is to develop [Dr Wu] if there’s a fourth installment—because after all, it’s him who propped Stark up when he’s in his most difficult time.

Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier returns Chris Evans (Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel’s) as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America, along with Scarlett Johansson ( The Avengers, Iron Man 2) as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson (Marvel’s The Avengers, Iron Man 2) as Nick Fury. In addition, film icon Robert Redford has joined the all-star cast as Agent Alexander Pierce, a senior leader within the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier features an outstanding supporting cast that includes Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The First Avenger, Black Swan) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker, Million Dollar Baby) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (Marvel’s The Avengers, How I Met Your Mother) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (Zero Dark Thirty) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (Death Warrior) as Georges Batroc. Rounding out the talented cast are Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger, The Hunger Games) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (The Ring 2, Revenge) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch (Elysium, District 9), production designer Peter Wenham (21 Jump Street, Fast Five), editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. (Star Wars: Episode 7, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky (The Hunger Games, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone).

The upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show has received an official title, and though pretty mundane it makes total sense. Also we have received an official plot synopsis for the show, coming this fall on ABC!

Joss Whedon shows us not all heroes are super with “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

Fresh from his role in the summer’s box office smash, Marvel’s The Avengers, Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) returns to the worldwide law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D. He puts together a small, highly trained, team of Agents to tackle the cases that haven’t been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown. That team consists of straight arrow Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), an expert in combat and espionage; pilot and martial artist Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen); and brilliant if socially awkward scientists Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge). They’ll be joined by civilian new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Prepare for an epic adventure that showcases the hope and wonder of the human spirit. This is a world of Super Heroes, aliens and the unusual – of action, spectacle and world spanning stories. The show will speak to the human condition through the lens of our very human, non-powered S.H.I.E.L.D agents – that together we are greater than we are apart, and that we can make a difference in the world.

Executive Produced and co-written by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”), Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”) and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville,” “Lost,” “Heroes”) comes Marvel’s first live-action TV series, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

We know that Guardians of the Galaxy will feature the mad titan Thanos, but who will be his back-up? Well, according to Latino Review:

“I’m told that The Controller will act as Thanos’ main henchman and ambassador.”

It looks like The Controller will be Thano‘s right hand man/alien whatever you want to call it.  I wonder what other classic, characters will make an appearance in Phase 2?!

black panther marvel

Another rumor is making the rounds on the internet today! Morris Chestnut announced on his Facebook and Twitter the following:

“It’s time to get familiar with the Black Panther character!”

Black Panther cover

The funny thing is that when I went to check it out myself, all evidence of this has been disappeared. With all of the recent rumors of characters who are part of the Illuminati, it isn’t that far fetched that Phase 3 will have something to do with this secretive group. Does that lead to Planet Hulk? Time will tell, until then let’s enjoy Phase 2.

So get excited Towelites!! Iron Man 3 will be here before we know it and Phase 2 will be in FULL SWING!!!! Catch up on all the news and rumors from Marvel Studios’ Phase 2 here!

Stay tooned 😛
