Those of us wishing that Arrested Development would be continuing on Netflix for years to come (including myself), are going to be a bit disappointed. It seems that the fourth season will the the TRUE final season of the cult television series. CEO of Netflix, Reed Hastings, announced that the season was just a “one-off” and that it would be “extremely difficult to get the whole cast back together.”

While that is very sad news, Jason Bateman recently met with Empire magazine and said that the series will continue in a form of a movie.

“[The Netflix episodes will be] the first third of a three part story — the second two parts will be in the movie. So this is the first act, and the movie is act two and three. They’re all just asking questions that the movie itself will answer.”

I don’t know about you guys, but that’s good enough for me! I’m fine with seeing more Arrested Development in any way, shape, or form. Just give me more Bluths! The fourth season will air on May 5th, 2013.
