I’m thinking about what else I’m excited about seeing this year, and a few movies are slipping past my Hobbit Blinders. One such movie is Quentin Tarantinos ‘Django Unchained.’

I’ve been a Tarantino fan for as long as the mans been making movies, and though I’ve seen all his movies many times over, I believe that Inglorious Bastards is technically and story-wise his best. Also, he put in one I my favorite Bowie songs (Cat People), and it worked so beautifully in the movie that I just love that movie even more.

With all that said, I’m excited to see where Tarantino takes us on his next journey. Django is the story of a slave, turned bounty hunter, who is promised freedom and his captured wife, in exchange for services in taking down her captors. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the plantation owner who has Django’s wife played by Kerry Washington. The bounty hunter duo Is played by Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz.
