Robert Rodriguez is a movie-making machine. He’s currently shooting Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, while putting the finishing touches on Machete sequel. The man can’t be stopped! Today, we’re happy to announce at DFAT that Machete Kills will be getting a September 13th release date! Rodriguez has assembled a massive cast that includes Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jessica Alba all returning to the first movie; but also adding some new faces.
Happy Friday the 13th to Machete fans! Machete Kills will also star: Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen, Alexa Vega, Cuba Gooding Jr., William Sadler, Demian Bichir, Marko Zaror and Mel Gibson.
