Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig have made the best Bond movie to date with Skyfall. At least according to international Box Office records. The movie was the 2nd biggest opening ever in British history, right behind the last Harry Potter movie. Its was no doubt that Bond would be great in it’s on native soil, raking in 32.4mil; but it was huge in other markets such as France, Brazil, and Korea. So, with the 007 juggernaut not even over here in the States; it’s no doubt the movie will be HUGE.

It seems that Hollywood agrees, because they’ve already hired John Logan to come on and start working on Bond 24. Logan is a three-time Oscar nominee who also wrote “Gladiator,” “The Aviator,” “Hugo,” “Rango” and the upcoming Darren Aronfosky film “Noah.” I own all of his movies, and they are frequently watched, because they are just fantastic. He penned Skyfall with Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have penned previous Bond films, like Casino Royale. Logan will be working on Bond 24 by himself.

There’s no word who will be back, though I’m sure that Ben Wishaw will return as Q and probably Judi Dench as M. Other than that, we don’t know if Daniel Craig will be stepping back in the 007 role or not. Whatever the case, I’m excited to see Skyfall next week, I even ordered my IMAX tickets last night!
