Let it be known, that this is just a rumor for right now; but back when the announcement of Disney purchasing LucasFilm and the continuation of the Star Wars saga was a reality, we reported that Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford had all been in talks to reprise the roles in Star Wars Episode VII. We have no confirmation yet, other than we know that Ford has been approached to return as everyone’s favorite smuggler, Han Solo.
EW reporter, Geoff Boucher states that the role of Solo is still up in the air, and it’ll be some time before Ford signs on for the role. He recently tweeted:

Harrison Ford deal? My source says not yet. “It will not be for weeks and perhaps months.”
So, it could be a little while before we get any solid news. Let’s just say that if Ford will crack the Indy whip again, then I’m sure he’ll be back on board to ‘shoot first.’ We’ll keep you posted as more Episode VII news comes in here at DFAT.
