I remember back in 2005 Casey, myself, and our friend Eric headed out into the unknown, the American midwest, on an epic road trip to Indianapolis. We were going to Star Wars Celebration III. It was actually my first convention, and appropriately was a Star Wars one, my true geek love; the reason for my nerdy existence. Now Celebration VI (Orlando, FL: Aug 23-26) is upon us and of course that means exclusives, new product news, and more!! Read below,  Hasbro has a quick update for you regarding some swag! Dark Horse has a new comic book series coming your way this week! But look back here for updates from the convention! May the Force be with you! I leave you with this…..

Droid Factory Parts Swap at Celebration VI: “Yes, these are the droid parts you are looking for!”

As part of Hasbro’s activities at Celebration VI, the Hasbro team invites fans back for the Droid Factory Parts Swap.  Bring your spare parts from the 2008-2009 Droid Factory run and swap 1-for-1 for parts to complete the droids you need.  Not all parts for all droids are available, but may be traded in by other fans during the Weekend, so check back often and happy trading.  Also, Hasbro will be giving away Droid Factory posters (while supplies last) in its booth.  Uttini!

Issue 1 of the new series Lost Tribe of the Sith : Spiral came out this past Wednesday. As a fan of the Dark Horse comics, and avid reader, this is one title I DO suggest you pick up. It is a continuation of the Del Rey series by the same name. I picked these up for free on Kindle awhile back. Pretty sure they won’t be for long, if they haven’t had a price tag thrown on them already!  Here’s the synopsis:

On a planet ruled by a tribe of Sith—marooned thousands of years ago and cut off from the galaxy—the throne holder is about to be challenged by a power-hungry Sith rebel from the slums…and a thwarted royal Sith princess! Their few shared interests set them on a quest together—but most certainly not as partners!
