It didn’t really surprise me to read that the Jason Bateman comedy would take the top position at the Box Office this weekend. Bateman has a great track record with his films; and having it from the director of Horrible Bosses, only helped. The film pulled in over $36million dollars. Though the NorthEast was stricken by Blizzard Nemo, it seems that patrons flocked to the theatres to beat the cabin fever boredom.

Rounding out the rest of the Top 3 were Warm Bodies and the new Steven Soderbergh film, Side Effects, taking positions #2 and #3. Django Unchained and Bullet to the Head finished out at the bottom of the Top 10. Next week, we’re going to see what could be the next potential tween franchise, Beautiful Creatures. More importantly than that, is the return of Bruce Willis as John McClane in A Good Day to Die Hard. Guess which one I’ll be seeing?
