Wonder Woman proved to be triumphant once again this past weekend, as it was able to keep it’s #1 position at the Box Office by earning another $57.2 million. Incredible news for DC as well as superhero fans in general, as this brings the Worldwide total to 435.2 million. On the other end of the spectrum is the premiere of The Mummy which debuted at $32.2 million.

The Tom Cruise driven action thriller is the start of Universal’s Dark Universe. The goal is to bring all of Universal’s classic Monsters back to the big screen to a new audience. Despite the lukewarm reception here in the US the film has managed to debut at $141 million internationally. This will likely make it a hit in the long run and justify the next installment in the Dark Universe, Bride of Frankenstein. You can see the rest of the Top Ten below.

1. Wonder Woman $57.2 million

2. The Mummy $32.2 million

3. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie $12.3 million

4. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales $10.7 million

5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 $6.2 million

6. It Comes at Night $6 million

7. Baywatch $4.6 million

8. Megan Leavey $3.8 million

9. Alien: Covenant $1.8 million

10. Everything, Everything $1.6 million

Next week, we’ll probably see a bit of a shakeup to the Top Ten. Despicable Me 3 debuts and it’ll go up against the other animated film, Captain Underpants. We also have the Scarlett Johansson starring Rough Night. The latter looks completely horrid and will probably only make $16 million if it’s lucky, but stranger things have happened. Find out if I’m right in the next edition of Weekend Roundup!
