The Deer God, a breathtaking 3D pixel adventure from Blowfish Studios in collaboration with Crescent Moon Games, will release on April 25, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. More than 1.5 million gamers have downloaded The Deer God on Xbox One, PC and mobile platforms.
The Deer God takes players on a journey of spiritual reincarnation through a beautiful pixel art world filled with vast procedurally generated landscapes, challenging puzzles and dangerous enemies.
The story begins with a skilled hunter seeking to bag the largest buck for bragging rights. In an ironic turn of events, the huntsman’s life is cut short and he finds himself confronted by The Deer God, who reincarnates the hunter as a fawn in an act of karmic retribution.
Armed with only their quick wits and incredible athletic ability, players control the newly-born deer who must evade danger around every turn and complete puzzles to unlock new skills and abilities in their quest for survival and to return to humanity.
As each day and night cycle passes, fawns will grow and mature allowing them to mate. Each new fawn grants the player an extra life for reincarnation. After facing an enemy, deer can replenish their health by eating the surrounding vegetation.
