Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap borrows from the side-scrolling mechanics of yesteryear with some sketchily illustrated (the style, not the underhanded variety of “sketchily”), allowing you to select from a small band of heroic looking creatures:
So the nostalgia inspired title above is all well and good. But YOU GUYS (and Gals), if you grew up with Disney Afternoon as a kid, you need to look into this collection. The Disney Afternoon Collection includes not one not two, but SIX of the games from our childhood, INCLUDING Darkwing Duck. If you have read any of my early DFAT work, you know that Darkwing Duck is the cartoon that I have a deep love for and now I can have it in my life. The collection includes DuckTales, DuckTales 2, TaleSpin, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2, in addition to Darkwing Duck.
And finally, for all of you who are waiting very, very patiently for Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2, there is a new Telltale Series that will hopefully tide you over.
