Here we are, once again, in the magical land of new game releases.
A game that pairs our love of DC Comics (Marvel kids, pipe down, we love you too) and superhero infighting, Injustice 2 is out with new heroes, playable villians (Suicide Squad Harley Quinn, anyone?) and well…customization.
Akiba’s Beat follows a few college drop outs in their groundhog day-like adventures on PS4 and PS Vita. If you’re a fan of JRPGs, perhaps give this one a try.
The Surge gives you a taste of a dystopian future. You man (or woman, we won’t play favorites) an overpowered exoskeleton that can be modified and upgraded as you progress. It is also considered to be along the vein of the Dark Souls series, which, if you’re a glutton for misery, might fit the bill for you nicely.
AND…Last but not least is my favorite game from PAX East 2016 (That I had the pleasure of playing in God mode and breaking) Mages of Mystralia! If you love wizardry and female protagonists while supporting some awesome indie game developers, check it out!
