American Horror Story is consistently one of the most inventive shows on television. What Brad Falchuck and Ryan Murphy created was a throwback to the times of Vaudeville, mixed with some of the creepiest themes in American Folklore. What you get is an amazing addition to the Horror genre that’s still very original.
Today, we’re happy to share with you details on the upcoming season entitled, American Horror Story: Freakshow. The cast of “unusuals” will be heading to Florida during the 1950s, as Jessica Lange will be a German ex-pat that’s managing the last of the great American Freak Shows.
We have it confirmed that: Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy all play performers whom Lange’s character has rescued; Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts are also in talks to return.
