It seems that the ‘Thundercats‘ can’t ever seem to get a break. They have an awesome 80’s cartoon and toy line, then both disappear. Then we get some comic treatment via Marvel and Wildstorm, both of those get discontinued. Today, in the latest blow to the Cats o’ Thunder, we find out that Cartoon Network is pulling the plug on the updated cartoon series.
Thundercats Art Director Dan Norton has officially announced that the series has ended. Norton goes on to say: “Let me just say, nobody is working on ThunderCats. It would take years to get it back on tv if we started today. Draw your own conclusion. I love you guys and thank you for all the support”.
So, that’s it. I guess they yelled their last “Thundercats are GO!”
