I can’t wait for July 30th to roll around, and the way things have been lately… it’ll happen in a Flash! When the new animated feature Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, from DC Comics and Warner Premiere, releases I’ll be checking that day one! The event that lead up to the creation of the New 52 is here for your viewing pleasure on Digital Download, BluRay, and DvD! I wonder if they will set any of their upcoming movies in the New 52? I hope that these movies continue for years and DC makes enough money to explore the other heroes. You’ll find some those gems (Wonder Woman, both Green Lanterns) among the Batman and Superman heavy collection, but look how they called this one. Not just Flashpoint, but they headed it with Justice League. Helluva way to sell your lesser known characters under the mantle of something that legions of geeks are always on the look out for, the JL. Nonetheless, this Geoff Johns mini-series is now a full featured animated adventure, and I can’t wait to own it! The return of Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Hal Jordan and a Kevin Conroy Batman is just enough to geek out about. Love the casting of these films. Check it out!
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox boasts an impressive voice cast that includes Justin Chambers as Barry Allen/Flash, Kevin McKidd as Thomas Wayne/Batman, Michael B. Jordan as Victor Stone/Cyborg, C. Thomas Howell as Eobard Thawne/Professor Zoom, Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Cary Elwes as Aquaman, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman and Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Set to premiere at San Diego Comic-Con July 19th, the film will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray July 30th.
