[box_light]WHEN THE HUNTRESS MET THE CANARY — When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it’s only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank’s case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn’t like the way he is forced to go about it. John Behring directed the episode written by Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley.[/box_light]

Well it looks like we won’t have to wait until The Flash TV show to see both Vibe (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) will both make their DCU debut in the 19th episode of Arrow, entitled The Man Under the Hood. Here’s what series executive producer Marc Guggenheim had to say about the upcoming episode!

“Danielle Panabaker who plays Caitlin and Carlos Valdes who plays Cisco, two members of S.T.A.R. Labs who are part of the regular cast of The Flash, do make an important appearance in Episode 19 of Arrow. This was something that really came about because obviously Barry is in a coma at the end of Episode 9. That pretty much made it impossible for Barry to appear in Episode 19, 20, pick an episode of Arrow, because he’s got to stay in a coma until October of next year!…Whenever people would ask ‘is Barry going to show up on the show?’ I’d be like, ‘he’s in a coma! What do you want?’ One of our writers had a great pitch for bringing in a couple of the S.T.A.R. Labs characters, Cisco and Caitlin, and even though the circumstances of that pitch changed, the idea of bringing in those characters really, really appealed to us, because it allowed us to honor our original intention that we had at the beginning of the year, which is doing something Flash-related around episode 19 or 20.”

So it looks like both characters will get their origin sometime after the episode of Arrow, so we will have to just wait and see what happens!
