To my pleasant surprise this week, while viewing Teen Titans GO! I was lucky enough to hang around after the episode. I am very happy I did! I had heard that Bruce Timm would be creating an animated short to celebrate Batman’s 75th Anniversary but I had no idea that it was being released this week! Well here it is, please enjoy Strange Days:
Cool right? Very different from the Superman one that was released last year to celebrate his 75th. I love that it features Hugo Strange and maybe that’s Solomon Grundy. The setting of the earlier 1900 pulp era is a nice touch as well, especially since we see so many new incarnations of the character. I’m sure there will be plenty more to come this year in celebration of this superhero, so stay tooned! Oh, and Happy Birthday Batman!
