DC Entertainment will officially hold “Batman Day” on July 23rd to celebrate the debut of the Dark Knight 75 years ago. But now, new details have hit of what will be offered specially to fans at their favorite participating retailers! On hand will be a special edition version of Detective Comics #27, designed by Chip Kidd, and scripted by writer Brad Meltzer. Also available, an exclusive 75th Anniversary cape, bookmarks, and a four mask set featuring the different looks of the Batman over the years (“Detective Comics” #27 (Bob Kane), “Batman ’66” (Adam West), Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns”, and the current Greg Capullo’s New 52 era look).

Also comic book fans should realized that July 23rd falls on a Wednesday, aka new comic book day, so Bat-fans should be excited for two brand new series hitting shelves that day, Grayson and Robin Rises “Omega”. I know that I will be reading both series so it will be a great day for any Batman fan! Look for all of these great “party favors” and more on Wednesday, July 23rd!
