A little late I know but hey it’s still Wednesday here on the Best Coast. What’s on the top of your stack this week? Here are my pulls!

Pearl #10 (DC) Brian Michael Bendis, Michael Gaydos

From the creators of Jessica Jones comes an even more amazing story. A comic about a super-powered assassin and it’s written by Bendis? AND IT HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 12 ISSUES?! Your excuses have run thin.

Captain America #11 (Marvel) Ta-Nehisi Coates, Adam Kubert, Alex Ross

It’s like Christmas every time this comic shows up at my house. Coates continues to challenge the character and it is truly what the core of Marvel is. Oh hey Alex Ross does EVERY cover of this series.

Psi-Lords #1 (Valiant) Fred Van Lente, Renato Guedes, Rod Reis

This book should be on the top of your stack without a doubt. I had the chance to read an early review copy and I won’t be missing an issue! Check out our interview with writer Fred Van Lente! Sci-fi, mystery, action?! You know you’re in!

Justice League #26 (DC) James Tynion IV, Javi Fernandez, Francis Manapul

As I plug away at reading the back issues of this series I unfortunately got behind on, here comes the next exciting chapter as Year of Villain amps up! Ahhhh! I better get done with this article and get back to reading.

Batman #73 (Oliver Variant) (DC) Tom King, Mikel Janin, Ben Oliver

Tick Tock, Tick Tock, the Tom King run is coming to a quick end! Well that is kind of exciting seeing that we should be getting an announcement of who’s taking on the Bat next.

Superman Year One #1 (of 3) (Miller Cover & Romita Cover) (DC Black Label) Frank Miller, Danny Miki, John Romita Jr

Ever since I heard that this comic was coming and who was working on it, I was in. Miller always seems to come up with some shit that upsets a few people and art by Romita Jr. is unparalleled. Superman in a Black Label series? Yup.

Aquaman #49 (Middleton Variant) (DC) Kelly Sue DeConnick, Viktor Bogdanovic, Joshua Middleton, Jonathan Glapion

This has been a great run so far and I am always left wanting more. Stop coming up with more reasons for me to buy over my limit of comics every week!

Till next time.
