The booming voices of his Father’s friends faded away, only coming in loud bursts as someone said something worth yelling about. He always took this time to explore the building. The theater his father performed in was large, but without a show, it was cavernous, empty. The echoes drifted along next to him as he walked through the exit.

Why am I putting this at the top of the stack? Why isn’t it a number #1? Why were you so late in discovering how fantastic this series was? I will answer those questions in order starting with… HEY LOOK OVER THERE!

Old Man Logan #31 (Marvel)

Ed Brisson (W) Mike Deodata Jr.

The last arc was great. I am interested to see how the second one starts. Hopefully they continue bringing us solid heartbreaking Logan stories. That’s what the world needs more of.

Eternity #2 (Valiant)

Matt Kindt (W) Trevor Hairsine (A)

The first issue of this comic was something to behold. I am really excited for this next series. This saga is always a page turner.

Green Arrow Annual #1 (DC)

Benjamin Percy (W) Eleonora Carlini (A)

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR WHERE COMIC WRITERS MAKE A BUNCH OF CHRISTMAS THEMED STORIES AND I GET REALLY FUCKING EXCITED FOR THE HOLIDAYS. LETS GO!

Moon Knight #189 (Marvel)

Max Bemis (W) Jacen Burrows (A)

Talk about a strong first issue. The last issue was incredible. It beat all my expectations and I have very high expectations for a Moon Knight book. Look at the talent that has graced the page recently, while you are in awe of that, realize that this book is shoulder to shoulder with those books.

Batman: Creature of The Night #1 (DC)

Kurt Busiek (W) John Paul Leon (A)

The companion/spin-off of Superman: Secret Identity is here and I knew nothing about it until like two days ago. How did that happen? I am so ready for this book.

Manifest Destiny #32 (Image)

Chris Dingess (W) Matthew Roberts (A)

This series is seriously one of the more underrated series that Image is putting out. It’s a goddamned phenomenal book and if you aren’t reading it, you are severely missing out.

Batman Annual #2 (DC)
Tom King (W) Lee Weeks (A)

The team behind Batman/Elmer Fudd is back for a flashback of our newly engaged super duo. I’ll tell you what. I love me some Batman/Catwoman action. This is a comic made just for me.

Renato Jones: Season 2 #5 (of 5) (Image)

Kaare Andrews (W/A)

The second series is coming to an end and I’m a little sad. I hope it comes back, but if it doesn’t, that’s fine I’m happy we got as much as we did.

Kill or be Killed #14 (Image)

Ed Brubaker (W) Sean Phillips (A)

The end of the third arc already. If you haven’t gotten caught up with this book yet, you need to go buy the trades and do it. It’s one of my favorite series of all time already. It’s absolutely mind blowingly good and you are missing out on something special if you don’t already know that.

If you navigate enough hallways you can always find a new room. There was something about this hallway though. If you listened quietly you could hear the boisterous hollering of the emboldened actors getting ready on the other side of the building. Small voices to keep him company as he read. Distraction to keep him from silence.
