For the most part, I think that fan films are a waste of time. Every once in a while a Star Wars or Sandy Collora one will come along and blow my mind; but ultimately they don’t matter, they don’t have the OK from the creators, and they are made on a budget that is abysmal compared to the original film. Yet, they keep coming out.

One such example is Spider-Man 4. For some reason the creators think that the Tobey Maguire films should live on and that they want to continue the legacy that Sam Raimi created. I guess they haven’t seen Tom Hollands portrayal of the character, because its superior. Hey, they’re allowed to do whatever they want, but they do need to raise the $10,000 with the help of YOU to get it done.
