Matt Reeves has taken over directing reins on the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes film, and by the teaser below, it looks like he’s handling that responsibility just fine. We get glimpses at the human struggle, a voice over by Gary Oldman, and the feeling that the Humans are on the minority list. Check it out below!
I’m extremely excited about this film coming out next year. I can’t wait to see what Andy Serkis brings, as he steps back into the role of Caesar. Add the music of Michal Giacchino, and some fantastic actors, and this film looks like it’ll surpass Rise.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opens July 11th, 2014. The film is directed by Matt Reeves and stars: Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Judy Greer, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Toby Kebbell.
