Villains month is on its way this fall and we are starting to see some more reveals and merch popping up for preorder, for that you can always hit up TFAW.com! Let’s round up the news that hit the web over the weekend concerning all things DC!
Flashpoint set off a chain reaction of events that lead to the formation of the New 52 universe. DC Comics had a way to reboot all of their characters, change rosters and even backstories. Some fans liked it some didn’t. But no one can argue that one of the most “hated on” characters in the DCU didn’t get a change for the better. Aquaman, who is at the brunt of most jokes when it comes to DC, has been reinvented by superstar writer Geoff Johns. I am a big fan of this series myself and I have been reading and collecting since the beginning. Well DC is ready to test the “waters” when it comes to this character,and there’s no better way than making an animated movie about him basing it on Johns’ New 52 run. Why not, at least 3 outta 4 of the last movies were based on his work. Awesome idea. Johns responded to a fan question on Twitter regarding the project. Though nothing is totally confirmed, except by Johns below, I’m sure DC will have something to announce by the time NYCC rolls around.

I love DC Comics supervillains, they are one of my favorite aspects of comic books in general. This September the villains are taking center stage for Villains Month, which then will lead right into Forever Evil! In a world where the Justice Leagues are dead, who will protect it from a new force of evil. This may be my favorite promo for the New 52 to date! After the announcement of the next DLC character, Zatanna, spoiled fans asked where their next skin was! Well gamers looks like our prayers have been answered and we are getting the Cyborg Superman. Very cool choice, Cyborg Supes appears in his black and red costume. I was kinda hoping it would be more Sinestro Corp, but its close enough. The skin will appear as part of the Zatanna compatibility pack next Tuesday.
