At yesterday’s Batman: Assault on Arkham panel at SDCC, two more animated films for 2015 were announced! First up we have Batman vs. Robin, which will loosely tell Scott Snyder‘s Court of Owls story arc that basically launched Batman into the New 52. If you have read the comics then you know that Batman and Robin do not fight in this story line, so I’m not sure how the writers will be adapting this epic tale.

The other film announced is called Justice League: Gods and Monsters. The movie will mark Bruce Timm‘s return to the director’s chair, he will also be writing the original story for the film. What do you think Towelites?! I love that Timm will be a huge part of the next Justice League animated film after Throne of Atlantis. I wonder if it will follow suit in DC’s new animated canon! There weren’t too many more details revealed on these exciting projects, maybe we’ll hear more by the end of the big show!
