Finally, the World of Warcraft movie is getting off the ground. It was originally attached to director, Sam Raimi, who went on to direct, Oz: The Great and Powerful. Now, we have news that director Duncan Jones is attached to the project. I think this is really great news, since both his films, Source Code and Moon, have been incredible films. On top of that, Jones wrote both of those projects, and he’s a HUGE gamer. This is a great move for Hollywood and Blizzard to get a film franchise started.
It’s rumored that the film will have a 2015 release date. As more news comes in, we’ll keep you posted here at DFAT!
