Eli Roth has decided to stop wasting everyone’s time of thinking he’s an actor (Although, I do love his character of Grim in Cabin Fever); and is getting back behind the camera. I’m a fan of Roth’s films and would rather he keeps his efforts there. Seems that he finally listened to all my angry tweets and decided to push out his newest film, Green Inferno, this year. Below you can check out the first official still and synopsis of the film below. Let’s just hope that we get a trailer in the near future!
Here’s the official synopsis:
A group of student activists from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.
THE GREEN INFERNO is slated for release sometime in 2013.
