I’m not sure if I’ma huge fan of the marketing campaign going on for Ender’s Game. The film is being adapted by Gavin Hood, based off the novel from Orson Scott Card. One of the main aspects of the book is Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) in battle school, but we don’t see that much. I understand that’s not what’s going to draw in the masses, so they need to focus on the big names like Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley; but I feel audiences are in for a big surprise when they see a kid figuring out battle strategies as opposed to an all-out bug war, as the trailers would have you believe. Regardless, below is a new IMAX poster for the film, and a look INSIDE the sets.

The film also stars: Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Viola Davis, Khylin Rhambo, and Moises Arias. Ender’s Game opens November 1st, 2014.
