The idea of Woody Allen as a pimp, with John Turturro as his gigolo, is absolutely hilarious to me. The two will team up in the upcoming, Fading Gigolo; and below is the first trailer. This will be the writing/directing debut of Turturro and I think he’s going to knock this one outta the park.
Here’s a synopsis for Fading Gigolo:
Fioravante, at his friend Murray’s suggestion, enters into the world’s oldest profession, and ends up finding something he didn’t know he was looking for. Starring John Turturro, Woody Allen, Vanessa Paradis, Liev Schreiber, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara.
Fading Gigolo also stars: Sharon Stone, Sofia Vergara, Live Schreiber, and Vanessa Paradis. The film will debut overseas first, and then sometime over here in the States.
