On-again-off-again. That seems to be the general vibe surrounding the Dumb and Dumber sequel. Finally, we’re getting some words from Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) himself! In a recent interview with CraveOnline.com Daniels  went on to say.

“Jim wants to do it,” Daniels recently told CraveOnline.com. “I want to do it. The Farrellys want to do it. They want to rewrite the script a little bit and they aren’t trying to jam it in before I have to go back and do ‘Newsroom’ in November. So they’re going, ‘Why don’t we just do it right? Let’s get everybody organized to go next May or June.’ If everything works out on the business side, that’s what we’ll do but I think there’s more hope than ever.”

So what he’s saying is, that there’s a CHANCE!

I can only pray to the one true God, ODIN, that this comes true! Dumb and Dumber is my absolute favorite comedy of all time. It’s a movie that I laugh through the entire movie start to finish.  I laugh at the jokes as they are on, and even before they come on the screen in anticipation of what hilarity is about to ensure betwixt those two chuckle-heads.  I refuse to see Dumb and Dumberer because of none of the original actors being involved.  If Carrey, Daniels, and the Farrelly brothers are back, so am I.

In case you hate true comedic cinema and haven’t seen the original Dumb and Dumber. First, should openly be shorn in front of a crowd of onlookers. Second, I’ll give you a brief synopsis of the original.

Dumb and Dumber stars Jim Carrey (Majestic) and Jeff Daniels (Because of Winn-Dixie) as loveable best-friends Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively. They found themselves on an adventure filled with mirth and whimsy by tracking down the love of Lloyd’s life, to Colorado.

I really hope to see this movie in 2013.
