In terrifying nerd news today, twas being thrown around the interwebs that Brett “I effed up the X-Men trilogy” Ratner is being considered to take on the big chair for the Justice League movie. Remember when we told you about the Wachowskis being on the short-list to helm this behemoth, looks like the WB are hitting the water hard. I’m looking forward to a Justice League movie where Martian Manhunter is played by Chris Tucker, I CAN NOT WAIT! Just like I waited for Youngblood. Can I just get another Rush Hour, please. Also being considered: Zack Snyder (Man Of Steel), Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) and…McG (I just threw up).

Here’s the interesting news, will the new Batman make his FIRST appearance within the “in development” Justice league movie? Comic Book Movie reported today that Batman On Film has made the following statement:
“Said [Batman] reboot will come after the JL film, not before. Therefore, the new cinematic Batman will be introduced in the JL film as opposed to a solo film. This would, according to my industry “FOBOF,” assure the new Batman film series will be part of a “DC Cinematic Universe.”
Grain of salt for now. With WB and their master plans, you never know.
