Justice League War will be the next animated movie in DC Comics and Warner Premiere’s solid collection of films. War will be the first to take place in the New 52 universe. The movie will be loosely based on Geoff Johns’ and Jim Lee’s initial run on the title. After the events of Flashpoint the DC Universe has changed and things are different, in some cases very different. I have been a fan of the New 52 and I find some of their titles to be some of the best superhero books out there, thanks of course to the awesome talent they have. One change I don’t really like is that they subbed-out Aquaman with Shazaam, now I understand that Aquaman will be eventually getting his own movie and it’s probably a really good way to introduce the character, but I still don’t agree with it. I guess John’s backup Shazaam story wasn’t enough to merit a movie of its own. It is good to see Billy Batson on the main stage, but where was Cyborg? Didn’t see too much of him in there! Justice League War hits Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Copy in early 2014!
