I’m a pretty big fan of Olivia Wilde. Ever since I saw her in Tron: Legacy, I’ve been a fan of her work. Her newest film is called The Lazarus Effect, and is basically a rip off of Flatliners. I’m not saying anything is wrong with that, it’s just that the plot of a bunch of medical students who bring the dead back to life is pretty familiar sounding.

You can take a look yourself at the first trailer that also shows off Mark Duplass and Donald Glover. Even if the movie is reminiscent of Flatliners, you have to admit that the casting in this film is great and the trailer is good looking too.

The Lazarus Effect is directed by David Gelb (Jiro Dreams of Sushi) and written by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater. The film also stars Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger, and opens in theaters on February 27th.
