We reported a couple months back that Lionsgate and WWE Studios had planned on bringing about a Leprechaun reboot, starring the wrestler, Hornswoggle. Today, we’re happy to report that they have found a director. Zach Lipovsky will be the man behind the shelele.
Leprechaun will be Lipovsky’s directorial debut as well as Hornswoggle’s first big screen role. Lipovsky’s previous work has been as an VFX artist and the winner of the Steven Spielberg reality show, On the Lot. The duo does have tiny shoes to fill, since Warwick Davis had been playing the character through 6 films. We’ll keep you posted as more Leprechaun reboot news comes to DFAT!
