MillarWorld is looking to expand it’s empire again, this time it’ll be going after a different demographic, children. Mark Millar and Curt Tiegs are hard at work on launching their upcoming collaboration, Kindergarten Heroes. Millar is most-known for making amazingly violent and fantastic comics the likes of: Kick-Ass and Wanted. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens when he gets all cuddly.

From the mouth of Mark Millar:

[box_light]“Curt [Tiegs, artist and co-owner of the property] and I finished it a year and a half ago or more, but we’re working on sequels and will release once we have at least a couple more books. We’d like to launch a bunch of these at the same time and have a little set kids can buy when they pick up the first one.”[/box_light]

20th Century Fox has hired  Carter Blanchard to pen the script, with an unknown director or release date. It makes sense for the film to go to Fox, as Millar is serving is creative director on the upcoming Marvel films, including X-Men: Days of Future Past. As more news comes in on Kindergarten Heroes, we’ll keep you posted here at DFAT!
