How was your weekend Towelites?! Some interesting news tidbits hit the interwebs over the weekend regarding a couple of the upcoming Marvel Studios Phase 2 movies!
First up, E! News caught up with actress Elizabeth Olsen, aka the Scarlet Witch, and though she is keeping pretty quiet about the actual details of her role in the upcoming The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Olsen said, “We’re doing prep work now. It’s a lot of fun and I think it’s going to be really exciting for the fans because it’s going to be something they are not expecting. That’s why I’m excited.”. All I am expecting is a great followup to the BEST comic book movie of all time! I am really excited to see the new additions to the cast, especially after the announcement that The Vision is on-board, and now there’s reports that we will have another Avenger joining the team in the form of Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel! Latino-Review revealed that they have the inside scoop that Danvers will indeed in the film! What do you think Towelites are we getting a little out of control here? Will Danvers have only a small role in the movie, especially since we haven’t seen the appearance of Captain Marvel as of yet?! Perhaps he will be hinted at when Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters this summer! Maybe that’s what the GOTG rumored 2016 sequel will be about!! Who know, but at this point I am really pumped for what Avengers 2 will bring and I can’t wait for more news from this exciting project!
One thing for certain is that the next movie in the Marvel Studios line-up is Captain America: The Winter Soldier! We just got an AWESOME trailer for the upcoming sequel, and here is the first official TV spot! Also released over the weekend, you’ll find below the character poster Robert Redford‘s, Alexander Pierce, if that’s who he TRULY is! Red Skull, Aleksander Lukin, who knows! Rounding out the new character posters are Falcon and Winter Soldier!
Cap 2 hits theaters on April 4th!!
