After yesterday’s big reveal of Ultron on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, we have some official stills from Age of Ultron to also share with you! Thanks EW for making us want to watch this film even more! Is it 2015 yet?
Here’s a brief description that was shared with EW of a scene from the movie!
[box_light]Stark sees the soiree as a chance for the Avengers to schmooze with the city’s powerbrokers in a post-S.H.I.E.L.D. environment, showing that they are not merely superpowered vigilantes. Half-filled glasses of wine, bottles of beer, and partially eaten plates of sushi and cookies litter the tables in this three-story marble and steel structure, constructed entirely within the soundstage—complete with a loading dock for the Quinjet and an upstairs laboratory for Stark and Banner (Mark Ruffalo) to blind themselves with science. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has put aside the cape and chest plate for a t-shirt and slacks, while Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow has swapped her leathery catsuit for an empire-waist cocktail dress with a billowing skirt — which helps hide the actress’s real-life pregnancy. Banner looks a little uptight in his purple button-down and tweedy jacket, while Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is in wallflower mode, lingering on the periphery by himself, ever the loner. Chris Evans’ Captain America is making small talk with former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders). Most of the partygoers have left; now it’s just the old friends lingering.[/box_light]
Big news from the set of Marvel’s Daredevil! The Netflix series has added two new additions to this amazing cast. True Blood‘s Deborah Ann Woll aka Jessica, will be portraying Karen Page who will be the female lead of the show! Page is the longest running love in Matt Murdock’s life, dating back to the premiere issue! I love Woll on True Blood and I am excited that she has joined this exciting project!
Another casting update, but it’s not a character that I don’t recognize. Has anyone heard of Hachiro? I have not and I can’t find anything online about the character! Well nonetheless, Peter Shinkoda (Falling Skies, Mortal Kombat: Legacy) will be playing this mysterious character who will have a major reoccuring role.
Also announced, the show will not blend into the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at first. As it should, Marvel’s Daredevil will be establishing its own backstory before moving towards the Defenders! Daredevil will be released on Netflix sometime in 2015!
