The Hunger Games sequel is coming out this year, and I nearly forgot about it. I didn’t mind the first movie, but it didn’t hold a candle to the book it was based on. Plus, the CGI was deplorable and the violence was so tamed down, that I easily lost my interest in the big screen adaptation. Luckily, Entertainment Weekly is here to remind the world that Catching Fire is still coming out this fall.

Take a look below at the the new images of cover of the upcoming issue that features Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Clafin as Katniss Everdeen and Finnick Odair. Catching Fire is my favorite book of the series and I hope that they do a decent job. Check out the the new stills!

Here’s the official synopsis:

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The film is set to be released November 22nd, 2013. Stay tuned for more Catching Fire news here at DFAT.

Stills thanks to EW.
