Out of one comic book frying pan and into the other as the saying goes, right? That may be the case with James Gunn reportedly being eyed to write and direct the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel. Given that he already knows how to handle a group of miscreants with what he did with Guardians of the Galaxy and the fact that the first movie sucked ass, I think this would be fantastic if it comes true. Heck, we see what happened with Joss Whedon jumping ship from Marvel to DC, so why not Gunn?

No word yet if this is actually true or just another in the long line of things in the DC rumor mill, but we’d like to see it happen. What’s your thoughts on the situation? Sound off in the comments!
