Mark Millar was recently put in charge of Fox’s Marvel movies and DFAT rejoiced. It isn’t that we don’t like the Fox Marvel movies, we just believe that Marvel Studios has a better eye on their own properties. But by hiring one of the best comic book writers in the industry, Fox has proven that they are ready to start taking things VERY seriously! Here’s a quote from Mark Millar on the status of  the X-Men First Class sequel “Days of Future Past“.

“Vaughn is going for a big sci-fi style thing with X-Men: Days of Future Past. It’s X-Men meets The Terminator. You’ve got robots, you’ve got time travel, you’ve got superheroes – it’s got everything in one film. Cost-wise it’s going to go up, and ambitious-wise it’s gone up. But Vaughn can handle it. Vaughn made Kick-Ass for $28 million.”

Robots better mean Sentinels. Also reported over the weekend by We Got This Covered, Famke Janssen has reportedly made a visit to the set of James Mangold‘s The Wolverine to shoot a cameo scene! Strangely enough, we may be looking at the possible beginning of a tie-in with the up coming First Class sequel!!

Stay tooned 😛
