Hey Towelites! It’s time once again to report the latest news and rumors circulating the intrawebs!

Maybe the Towelites will get lucky at NYCC and get some love in some form of Iron Man 3 footage! Even if we don’t on October 22nd we will see the first official movie poster, and the following day comes our first teaser trailer!!! So check back here in a couple weeks and we’ll have the updates for you!!

In a move that totally makes sense if you are bringing in The Winter Soldier, Black Widow will be making an appearance. In the comics Bucky and Widow knew each other when they worked for the Reds, and then after Bucky returned, became Cap, then WS again, they now have a  relationship, so…….yes Scar Jo will most likely have a pretty critical part. Also Marvel has released a short list for the leading lady (hopefully, Sharon Carter) in the new movie and here they are (no mention of Anna Kendrick):

• Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones
• Jessica Brown Findlay (Downtown Abbey
• Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four
• Imogen Poots (Fright Night
• Alison Brie (Mad Men)

I’m not sure when Guillermo Del Toro ever sleeps, or if he does at all! But he does have an update on the Hulk Tv show he’s creating for ABC and other tidbits awesomely comic book related:

Del Toro: Right now all I know is the official word I was given is that there’s a writer they want. They are very interested in me meeting with him. He’s very, very busy. The official word is we are holding, but I don’t know… After Avengers having the success it had, perhaps the fate of the project may change. Right now officially what I know – and I’m not hiding anything off the record or anything – is that we were told we were waiting for this writer, and we were going to do it with him.

Shock: If it moves forward, would you still like to direct the pilot?

Del Toro: Of course. The reason is that the superheroes I like and that I would like to get involved with are all monsters. Be it Swamp Thing, Etrigan [the Demon], Doctor Strange – which is not a monster, but…

Shock: A dark fantasy saga.

Del Toro: Yeah. Certainly supernatural. I would love to do Morbius [the Living Vampire],
Blade – they have to be monsters for me to be involved.

So yeah basically the same news we got before. Interview Via:  shocktillyoudrop

Finnally on an awesome, brighter note Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) is campaigning for the voice role of Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy. Effin sweet! Makes a lot of sense since Rooker has worked with Gunn on previous films, Sliver and Super.

“Oh, yeah. Most certainly. I know that James Gunn is doing it. He is directing it, and he is re-writing it. He is a very loyal director. He is a very loyal writer, when it comes to working with people that he knows and loves. He really appreciates the efforts that each actor puts into these roles. And I would be very honored and pleased to work with James Gunn again…Whether it will happen or not, I don’t know. But he is a dynamite guy, and we have remained friends ever since we worked together on Slither. I haven’t done much research on it at all yet. Because I don’t know what is going to happen. I’m really crazy busy with The Walking Dead right now. But you know what? Write this up. Tweet the [frick] out of it. If the fans want me as Rocket Raccoon, Marvel will listen to you guys, I think, sometimes…Perhaps I will be lucky and blessed enough to go in there, and go at it with Mr. Gunn again, who knows?”

Stay Tooned 😛
