We didn’t really know what to expect when Disney bought out Fox and The New Mutants movie hung in purgatory, but according to the new trailer, it’s still coming out this April. The film is looking like a movie that happens to take place in the old X-Men Universe, for some odd reason. How and if it connects to the MCU as we know it, well that remains to be seen. All we know right now is that we have a horror-themed X-Men movie coming out, nearly 5 years in the making.
20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
