The first Raid film was the stuff of legends. I’ve never seen fighting scenes so viscreal on screen before, and to think that we’d be getting a sequel to such an amazing film; well I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen in that film. Director Gareth Evans hints that we’re in for an epic event in The Raid 2: Berandal. The other day he tweeted “Last I checked – the action alone clocked in around 1hr 5mins mark.”

The film is going to take place 2 hours after the first film, where star Iko Uwais ends up in a jail and has to fight his way out. One scene involves four people fighting in a car as it’s speeding along a one-way. Evans also revealed that any teaser or trailer will not give away any of the 17 action scenes in the film. This man is a bloody mad scientist of fisticuffs and I can’t wait! Below, is a teaser poster from the film!
