Throughout the week there’s a lot of news that we would love to cover, but it’s so random, that it doesn’t really belong in its own article. So, we’ve created our Weekend Randomness column to show the stuff that we want to share with you; but doesn’t really have a direct place to go. Check out the Randomness below!

First, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows off a few new pictures. They include some extra looks at Oscorp, as well as images from Ravencroft’s Institute for the Criminally Insane.

We have our first logo from the upcoming, Lego Movie. There’s also a contest to go along with it, where fans can who create a video for the film could be featured in the movie itself! Details can be found HERE!

Brett Ratner is still making a Hercules movie, and he’s bringing some old guys with him. Dwayne Johnson has been cast as Hercules, and recently added the cast has been: Rufus Sewell, Ian McShane, John Hurt, and Joseph Fiennes.

Speaking of Johnson, it looks like The Rock may also be getting his own set of ‘Hobbs’ spinoff movies after Fast & Furious 6. Below we have Johnson talking about what we might see.

Next up, if you haven’t had a chance to see Oz the Great and Powerful and needed a reason to go; you can check out the opening sequence below. It’s pretty impressive, but it’s really meant to be seen in IMAX 3D. So, check it out!

Finally, we get some Comic Movie news. Chris O’Dowd is going to cameo in Thor: The Dark World and he comments below.

I think I’ll do more dramatic stuff and I think I have some stuff coming out that’s a bit more dramatic. I don’t know if I’d do an action movie because I don’t know if I could keep a straight face honestly, I just think it’s so silly. Like I love watching them but I can’t imagine me doing one. Actually, you know what I’ve done, just for fun because I didn’t think there was any way that I could be in a superhero movie, so I’ve done a scene in the new “Thor” movie, just for that. I just do like one scene, which was quite fun.

Kick-Ass 2 also got some celebrity cameos in the form of creators Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. They both are shown in the final fight sequence of the film. Check out their costumes below!

“They put us in the fight scene and I was supposed to beat the snot out of Mark in the battle scene, and then they were going to do close-ups of us fighting, and Mark couldn’t make it. So we’re in the fight scene, but it’s really difficult to see us. The director said when we do the third one, he said, ‘I’ll get you all the close-up.’ The photos of me in costume are pretty funny. They’re cringe-worthy, but since I have no pride, I don’t mind people finding out about them.”
