We all knew that it had to happen eventually, and it looks this past weekend The Force Awakens finally ceased to be #1 at the Box Office. The film was usurped by Ride Along 2, which managed to pull in $34million. That’s pretty fantastic news for Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, though when the first film premiered 2 years go, it had earned $10million more.

The other winners included The Revenant, with the #2 spot and $29.5mil. No doubt that the 12 Oscar nominations only helped to bring in new audience members. Michael Bay’s newest film, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, debuted at $16mil and took the 4th spot. You can see the rest of the Top Ten below.

  1. Ride Along 2 $34,036,000
  2. The Revenant $29,500,000
  3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens $25,120,000
  4. 13 Hours:The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi $16,000,000
  5. Daddy’s Home $9,300,000
  6. Norm Of The North $6,675,000
  7. The Forest $5,792,000
  8. The Big Short $5,200,000
  9. Sisters $4,417,830
  10. The Hateful Eight $3,447,000

Next weekend there are three big premieres: The Boy, The 5th Wave, and Dirty Grandpa. None of the movies look particularly fantastic, but I have a feeling that the combination of Deniro and Efron will probably be enough for at least a #2 spot on the Top Ten.
